Foto Notes 2.0 Is Here — The Big Update After Four Years

Foto Notes 2.0 is here, four years after launch, and by far the biggest update the app has ever had. The photo should contain the complete documentation, instead of photo plus sticky note or photo plus spreadsheet.
The new stamp shows everything
The single text line has grown into a structured info card that ticks live in the viewfinder:
- Large clock with seconds, date and timezone
- Full street address (street, number, city)
- Exact GPS coordinates in degrees/minutes/seconds, altitude and compass direction, referenced to true (T) or magnetic (M) north, your choice
- A small map of your position, standard or satellite (Pro)
- The weather at the moment you shoot: temperature, wind and humidity (Pro)
- Your note
- Your logo, company name and website (Pro)
Every Pro element is included in your first 3 photos after installing, so you see the complete stamp right from the start.

If you want fewer values in the image, hold the stamp and toggle every element individually. Only what you see gets burned in.
Design right in the camera
The new adjust panel (the slider icon next to the shutter) saves you the trip to the settings. It changes the stamp size (S/M/L), transparency, colors and placement, and you can pick the font for your note line from eight curated typefaces. Every change shows up instantly in the viewfinder. And the stamp can now also sit above or below the photo, so no detail of the image is ever covered.
Six building blocks instead of four
Alongside date, time, location and room you can now add exact coordinates, which work completely offline, and your company name and website. Tap a building block to open its format options, and “Insert in note” drops it straight into your note.
Ads out, your logo in
Ads are gone entirely. The free version takes unlimited photos with the full documentation stamp and carries a small Foto Notes badge inside the stamp in return.

Quick zoom presets like the built-in iOS camera, a room list for picking the room before each shot, a decluttered control panel with an expandable menu, and a new onboarding that sets up your stamp the way you want it on first launch. Foto Notes now also speaks 28 languages, up from 13.
